Legal Information & DMCA

Welcome to AllFileBase Legal Information page. We take copyright and legal software distribution very seriously. Please read our guidelines below.

1. General Disclaimer

AllFileBase operates as a file-sharing platform. While we provide infrastructure (including seedbox servers) to accelerate legal file transfers for our community, we strictly prohibit the uploading of unauthorized copyrighted material. All content is user-generated, and we act as a Service Provider under the DMCA.

2. Allowed Content (Legal Uploads)

We encourage users to share software legally. You are allowed to upload:

• Open Source Software (FOSS): Software under GPL, MIT, Apache, etc. (e.g., Linux distributions, OBS, VLC).
• Freeware: Software that is free to use and distribute.
• Shareware / Trialware: Untouched, official trial installers that require a legitimate license key purchased from the developer.

3. Prohibited Content (Strictly Forbidden)

Uploading pirated or modified software is strictly forbidden and will result in an immediate account ban. Do NOT upload:

• Cracks, Keygens, Activators or Patchers
• Pre-activated (cracked) Commercial Software
• Nulled Web Scripts
• Malware or Viruses

5. Distribution Rights (When is it Legal?)

You may only upload content if you possess the legal right to distribute it. This means the software must fall under one of the following categories:

• Public Domain: The copyright has expired, or the creator has explicitly placed the software in the public domain.
• Open Licenses: The software is released under a license that explicitly permits redistribution (e.g., GNU GPL, MIT, Creative Commons).
• Explicit Permission: You are the original creator of the software, or you have received written consent from the copyright holder to distribute it on P2P networks.

4. DMCA / Takedown Policy

If you are a copyright owner and believe your content is being shared on our platform without permission, please use the "Report" button located on the specific torrent page or send a Private Message (PM) to the Administrator. Your report/message must include:

1. The exact URL(s) of the infringing torrent.
2. Proof of copyright ownership.
3. Your contact information.

We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and will remove infringing metadata within 24-48 hours of a valid request.
